AVTECH Software is pleased to announce that an update to the AVTECH Device Discovery Utility is available for download at AVTECH.com.
AVTECH Device Discovery v3.1.0 includes the following:
- Added an Advanced Discovery option that allow users to scan an IP address or range of IP addresses for AVTECH hardware devices. The default discovery method can sometimes not discover units across multiple subnets on larger networks. This new Advanced Discovery option resolves this issue allowing users to discover any unit on the network that is IP addressable.
- Added the ability to remember devices that were previously discovered using the Advanced Discovery option and automatically add them to the device list on startup.
- Added additional verification steps to the firmware update process to automatically retry uploading files if the initial attempt fails.
