Newport, RI - AVTECH Software (AVTECH) introduces the next generation of their popular TemPageR monitor, a network-ready hardware/software solution for easy remote monitoring of temperature conditions in up to three locations within a 200' diameter. Originally designed for use in data center and IT equipment monitoring applications, TemPageR is inexpensive and easy enough to use for almost any temperature monitoring application- IT, commercial, manufacturing, food service, hospitality, education, residential and more. The new TemPageR 3E replaces the earlier TemPageR 4E to offer some important new end user benefits. It connects to the network via an included 10' Ethernet cable, includes a built-in digital temperature sensor and one external digital temperature sensor, just like the previous model. However, TemPageR 3E has 2 external digital sensor ports instead of 3 with the previous model. This allows a maximum of 3 digital temperature sensors in all, 1 internal and 2 external. The functionality is basically the same although the TemPageR firmware has been upgraded to allow improved graphics, speed displays, provide faster sensor data feeds and work more closely with Device ManageR. TemPageR 3E is also equipped with a new factory reset button that allows users to instantly reset the firmware, bringing the functionality back to the original factory settings and eliminating any custom configuration that may have been set. TemPageR 3E is available as a standalone box unit or in a 1U 19" rack mount configuration known as TemPageR 3ER. It is powered by an included 5V power adapter (110/240V, RoHS) that works worldwide and comes with the appropriate plug for the country of known use.
AVTECH's TemPageR is designed specifically to assist with monitoring IT and facility temperatures in locations up to 100' away. Once plugged into the network, the TemPageR package allows users to log temperature sensor status for immediate alert notification, historical review and graphing. Alert notifications from the TemPageR hardware can be sent via email, email-to-SMS and SNMP. It allows instant network discovery of monitors, easy set up, automatic notification of firmware updates, one click firmware updates, multi-unit or group set up, sensor data logging and graphing.
