How can I log the sensor data on my TemPageR 4E or Room Alert 7E unit?

Sensor data from the Room Alert 7E or TemPageR 4E units can be logged on the unit itself or by using PageR Enterprise (PageR). To enable logging on the unit itself, check the 'Enable Logging' checkbox on the 'Logging' tab of the 'Settings' screen, choose a logging interval and click the 'Save Settings' button. Logged sensor data will be accessible on the 'History' screen. The current logfile being used will be called 'Sensors.csv'. Sensor data will be logged to this file until it reaches the file size limit at which point all sensor data in the file will be archived and logging will continue with a blank 'Sensors.csv' file. At any one time there can be a maximum of two archived logfiles and a 'Sensors.csv' logfile.

To enable logging in PageR, complete the initial setup of PageR to monitor your Room Alert 7E or TemPageR 4E unit by following the 'Evaluation and Testing' chapter from the 'Getting Started With PageR Enterprise' manual and the 'Using SNMP Query Monitoring' section of the 'Monitor Room Alert 7E With PageR Enterprise' or 'Monitor TemPageR 4E With PageR Enterprise' application notes. After doing so, check the 'Log Samples' checkbox on the SNMP Query you configured to monitor your unit. Save your configuration to the Registry and click the 'Start' button. Sensor data retrieved from your Room Alert 7E or TemPageR 4E unit will be logged to the 'PageR Enterprise' directory in a file with the name 'SnmpQuery--().log'. '' will be replaced with the unique ID of the Monitored Object while '' will be replaced with the IP address of the unit you are logging data from. Sensor data will be written to this file until PageR is stopped and the logfile is moved or removed.
