I just updated to v2.0.0 of the TemPageR Firmware. When I configure thresholds in the TemPageR SNMP Query monitored object in PageR, I receive an alert no matter what two digit temperature I set. Why?
Version 2.0.0 of the TemPageR Firmware added floating point precision for the temperature sensor display and processing up to one hundredth of a degree. Because of this change, thresholds in the TemPageR SNMP Query monitored object must be entered as the desired temperature threshold multiplied by 100. For example, if a threshold of 80 degrees Fahrenheit is desired, 8000 must be entered in the value field for that SNMP MIB Object in order to trigger an alert at the desired temperature value.
